Nationwide offering 'gifts' worth up to £289 as Fairer Share £100 payments land The 'hidden in plain sight' offers launch as the Fairer Share payments begin to land in accounts Nationwide is celebrating its Fairer Share giveaway of £100 for all eligible customers with a new deal that could see you bag a gift worth up to £289. To celebrate Nationwide’s £100 Fairer Share payments beginning to land in eligible members’ accounts from today, the UK’s largest building society has teamed up with presenter Maya Jama to launch Fairer Share Drops, a UK-wide treasure hunt featuring 100 items worth up to £289 available for as little as £5. Including everything from vintage Polaroid cameras and Hermès cushion covers to Cult Gaia Clutch and vintage football jerseys, the collection - curated by Maya - will be hidden in plain sight in second-hand stores across the UK, at a fraction of their original prices. Maya stars in a new video where she takes to the high street to enjoy a second-hand-chic shopping spree, trying on a variety of vintage looks before realising how much further £100 can go when you look in the right places. Nationwide’s Fairer Share Drops will see pieces hidden in vintage stores across the UK, including London, Manchester, Brighton, Belfast, Glasgow, and Cardiff. All items are labelled with a special Nationwide QR code, once the purchaser scans the QR code it will take them to the Fairer Share Drops website and mark the item as claimed. Maya said: "I think we can all agree that we love an unexpected win, whether it's an unforeseen £100 landing in your bank account, or finding a vintage classic you've been after for ages. There's something so special about little surprises - especially when you see what a big difference they can make! I've loved curating Nationwide's Fairer Share Drops - it's the ultimate preloved collection to help members treat themselves this June - so why wait, get hunting." Nationwide’s Stephen Noakes, Group Retail Director, said: “As our £100 Fairer Share payment begins to land in many members’ accounts, we’re celebrating the joy of the unexpected by helping it go even further. With a selection of great finds available for a fraction of their original price, we’re giving back once more, in a way that feels as unique as the items on offer.” Each item in the Fairer Share Drops collection will be available for between £1 and £100.
