Show HN: Boxes.dev: ditch localhost; run Claude Code and Codex in the cloud
Hi HN, we’re Nick and Drew, and we’re building boxes.dev – the first cloud-only agentic dev environment (ADE) that gives every Codex and Claude Code agent its own cloud computer. We’re two engineers who previously built Gem (co-founder/CTO and first hire), and we spent the last year coding almost exclusively using Codex and Claude Code. It’s been a huge change to how we code, and it’s been exhilarating seeing the models keep getting better – but we eventually realized that developing on...
Anthropic’s Boris Cherny, Claude Code creator, on future of software engineering
Anthropic's Boris Cherny, Claude Code creator, doesn't think the software engineer is going anywhere. He just thinks there are going to be a lot more of them, under a different name. The creator of Claude Code, speaking to tech journalist Casey Newton on the Platformer podcast, predicted that people writing code or directing agents to do it will multiply by 100x in the years ahead.
Claude Code-Driving Scenario Mining for the Argoverse 2 Challenge
Announce Type: new Abstract: We present our submission to the CVPR 2026 Argoverse 2 Scenario Mining Challenge. Our system uses a four-stage pipeline: (1) autonomous code generation via a Claude Code agent powered by GLM~5.1, (2) iterative training set screening with Timestamp Balanced Accuracy threshold 0.8 to curate few-shot examples, (3) semantic code review by a separate Claude Code session, and (4) Qwen3-VL scene-level verification to filter false positives.
Anthropic is doubling Claude Code rate limits after deal with SpaceX
The company is also interested in SpaceX's planned orbital data centers.
Anthropic/OpenAI may be spending more than $1000 for every $100 you pay them
For reasons that will remain hidden, we resume writing about Generative AI/LLM after a hiatus of 15 months (that one from October 2025, and the one from June 2025, don’t really count as serious pieces). Today, the first of two articles about “coding with Large ‘Language’ Models”, as coding with LLMs is positioned as the ‘killer app‘ for LLMs. We interrupt this program for a short digression on Anthropic’s recently released blog post When AI builds itself.
