Privacy Policy Enforcement Guardrails for Data-Sensitive Retrieval-Augmented Generation
arXiv:2605.17034v2 Announce Type: replace Abstract: Standard PII filters often miss contextual data leakage in RAG systems, such as non-regulated attribute clusters that collectively identify individuals. We introduce a Privacy Policy Enforcement (PPE) framework using dual one-class density estimators with fused text embeddings and a calibrated abstain region for out-of-distribution inputs. Using an axis-stratified, multi-LLM synthetic data pipeline across medicine, finance, and law, we...
Inorganic sulfate transport by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis PE22/PPE36 complex
Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) encodes two multigene families with 169 members that are exclusive to mycobacteria, the pe and ppe genes. These genes have unusual sequences including low-complexity repeat regions, but their functions and whether they share a common function have long been unclear. Recently, several members of the pe/ppe family were shown to transport nutrients across the outer Mtb membrane, a role for which no other proteins have yet been identified.
Inflation inside the electronics you buy may soon become a bit more sticky
Anyone with evergreens in their yard probably knows the familiar feeling of putting their hand on the trunk and coming away with a sticky film on their fingers. This sticky stuff is better known as resin. Under the right conditions, tree resin hardens.
The U.S. Is Winging This Ebola Outbreak
By the time African health officials confirmed the world’s latest Ebola outbreak, the epidemic had already spilled from the Democratic Republic of the Congo into neighboring Uganda. Within two days, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a public-health emergency of international concern. Less than two weeks later, the potential case count has risen past 1,000, including more than 230 deaths, and 10 other African countries have been designated at risk of being swept into the...
A high-order Fourier Continuation (FC)-based spectral incompressible Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (ISPH) scheme for general boundary conditions in wall-bounded domains
arXiv:2606.06247v1 Announce Type: new Abstract: In this paper, a high-order Fourier Continuation (FC) algorithm is introduced into the spectral smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) scheme to simulate the wall-bounded incompressible flows. This work aims to extend the spectral ISPH scheme towards the high-order simulation of flows with non-periodic wall boundary conditions. Herein, a polynomial-based Fourier continuation technique is applied to the velocity and pressure to make the domain...

How do you stop Ebola at the World Cup?
LOS ANGELES — When the United States, Canada and Mexico formally submitted their co-hosting bid to soccer governing body FIFA in 2018, they touted the safety of the region, noting “no major endemic infectious diseases across any of our Host Countries.” Now, as the three countries prepare to welcome one of the largest international gatherings around the globe since the Covid-19 pandemic, infectious diseases are front of mind. Of particular concern is an outbreak of Ebola that is...
