A man has died after his car smashed into a pensioner's home in Peterborough.
Richard Woollard, 40, of Werrington, Peterborough, died in the collision which left a woman in her 70s who was inside the house injured.
Richard's parents said in a statement: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our son, Richard. He will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time".
Emergency services swarmed the property at around 6pm on Sunday after a blue Ford Mondeo slammed into the front of the semi-detached home. The car struck the property after colliding with stationary vehicles parked along the street.
