Police said four men armed with bladed weapons had forced their way into a home and demanded cash before attacking one of the occupants. They then fled the scene in a black SUV. The 23-year-old victim was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition. A man and woman in their 40s, and two males aged 16 and 19, were also home during the attack but were not injured, police said. A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident is underway.
