An 18-year-old man has been charged after an arson on volunteer ambulances run by the Jewish community in London’s Golders Green.
Subhan Ahmed has been charged with assisting an offender.
It comes after allegations that he made arrangements to scrap his car to help others avoid arrest or prosecution.
Three people were charged with arson in April following the attack on 23 March, which saw four ambulances from Hatzola set on fire.
Gas canisters kept in the ambulances exploded after they were set alight, and nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution.
Frank Ferguson, head of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Special Crime and Counter Terrorism Division, said there was “sufficient evidence” to bring the case to court.
“We have worked closely with Counter Terrorism Policing London as it carried out its investigation,” he said.
“We remind all concerned that criminal proceedings against this defendant are active and that he has the right to a fair trial.
“It is vital that there should be no reporting, commentary or sharing of information online which could in any way prejudice these proceedings.”
In April, 20-year-old Hamza Iqbal, 19-year-old Rehan Khan, and a 17-year-old boy were charged with arson being reckless as to whether life would be endangered.
