The patient, Ching Ching, suffers from pulmonary hypertension and heart failure. Advertisement She is currently being kept alive at Hong Kong Children’s Hospital with the support of an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation or ECMO machine, commonly known as an artificial heart-lung machine.
