The psychic turned his attention to the 2026 World Cup – and he has a warning for England fans
A psychic says he has a warning for England ahead of the 2026 World Cup. And he says he has seen what lies ahead for Harry Kane and his team.
Nicolas Aujula, 39, a hypnotherapist and past life regressionist based in west London, claims he first discovered his psychic powers at the age of 17, when he experienced visions of himself in past lives – including as an Egyptian queen and a lion. His previous tips involved, he says, "predicting" Spain's Euro 2024 triumph - and foreseeing Covid.
He says he has also predicted the Notre Dame fire in Paris and the Black Lives Matter movement. Looking ahead to the 2026 Fifa World Cup, which kicks off on 11 June with the final set for 19 July, he predicts Spain, Brazil and Argentina will make it to the semi-finals.
He also believes Morocco and Panama will emerge as shock contenders, and that the tournament will be blighted by weather disruption, "hooligans" and "racist chants". Nicolas told PA Real Life: "I think it'll be a time for reckoning for the Three Lions.
"I kept seeing the number six so this can mean July 6 is important or they come sixth overall. I feel Marc Guehi, who wears number six, is a dark horse who will out-perform himself to help his team.
"I also think Jude Bellingham can prove to be a very strong player that can help England's chances. I felt drawn to Marcus Rashford's legs, he needs to be careful of when he is being tackled – I think he could have a major injury affecting the tournament.
"I think Harry Kane will face criticism from fans and the media – I had a vision of him losing his temper." Nicolas revealed he first discovered his psychic gift at the age of 17 after experiencing visions of his "past lives".
He explained: "I entered a deep trance state and began to see vivid flashes – images of myself as an Egyptian queen, a nun in the Himalayas, a seamstress in China, a witch doctor in Africa, even a lion. It was surreal, peaceful, and utterly life-changing."
He revealed that "within days" of this experience, he left college, where he had been studying for his A-levels, and embarked on a career in hypnotherapy and "past-life regression", with the aim of helping others explore and make sense of their own past-life experiences.
Since then, Nicolas claims to have received predictions about future events through dreams, symbols and his "inner voice". "My visions aren't something I can control," Nicolas added.
"Often, they're symbolic rather than literal, which means they require interpretation to uncover their deeper meaning. Sometimes the message isn't immediately clear, and there's always the possibility of misinterpretation."
With the 2026 World Cup set to be the biggest tournament football has ever seen – the first to be hosted across three countries and featuring 48 teams – Nicolas has now turned his attention to forecasting who will lift the trophy. Despite "accurately predicting" Spain's Euro 2024 victory, Nicolas said he has never placed a bet on any of his visions and does not intend to this year either, as betting does "not align" with his views.
He believes Spain, Brazil and Argentina will reach the semi-finals, after seeing the streets of Madrid and an image of Rio de Janeiro's Sugarloaf Mountain. Nicolas also felt "very drawn" to Spain and Portugal, leading him to suggest that a player from one of those nations could end the tournament as Golden Boot winner, the accolade awarded to the tournament's top scorer.
He said he repeatedly saw images of the Sahara Desert, which he interpreted as a sign that Morocco and Panama could emerge as the World Cup's biggest surprise packages. He added: "I feel South American teams in general will give fierce competition to their rivals, they will be forceful and come in with a lot of energy. I saw red hovering around that part of the world, red to me is the colour of vigour and vitality."
Psychic's prediction for England World Cup 2026
Nevertheless, Nicolas believes England, Italy and Germany could fall short of expectations. Regarding England specifically, Nicolas revealed he saw the dates July 5 to 8 in his mind, which he believes will mark a "time for reckoning". He also believes Marc Guehi and Jude Bellingham will emerge as standout performers, while Marcus Rashford could be sidelined through injury.
However, he feels the tournament may prove tougher going for Harry Kane, predicting the England skipper will face "criticism from fans and the media" following a vision in which he "lost his temper". Nicolas also forecasts that England will be knocked out in a penalty shootout after experiencing an "image of disappointment".
Away from the football itself, he anticipates a "dramatic" few weeks ahead. He explained: "We can see changes in venues, weather extremes, more foul behaviour on the pitch.
"Players' focus will wane which will be reflected in their performance. I see football hooliganism, racists chants hitting the headlines, especially where locals spark with visiting fans. There could be a stampede and I see a fire, this could be a literal fire or symbolic of heated exchange."
He revealed he had a vision of a large flag bearing the colours red, blue and white and, while it was "hard to capture the directions of the colour", his "instinct" led him to believe it represented France – prompting him to tip Les Bleus to be crowned world champions.
