BORDER PROTOCOLS AUTOMATICALLY TRIGGERED IN SEARCH FOR NANCY GUTHRIE, RETIRED AGENT SAYS

Guthrie vanished from her Tucson, Arizona, home in February. Authorities have said they believe she was abducted, but there is no evidence that she was taken across the southern border.

Doorbell camera video shows a masked man wearing gloves on the front steps of the home around the time of Guthrie's abduction. The footage also captured a masked individual creeping up to the home three weeks earlier.

Her back door was also propped open by the time police arrived hours later, prompting questions about whether more than one person was involved. Supposed ransom notes were sent to TMZ and local media, but no one has been arrested in connection with the case.
