The UK duo, who were big on the garage scene in the 90s and 00s, got things started by playing their 1999 hit "A Little Bit of Luck" which sold 250,000 copies at the time. The duo helped launch the Two Yolks: Lotto's Luckiest Café - an immersive brunch pop-up to celebrate Lotto's exciting new format, where every £2 line now gives players two chances to win. The song has recently gone viral thanks to a new TikTok "Trudy Knight" trend, in which users lip-sync to Molly-Mae Hague's voiceover. Alongside their huge 90s hit, they also performed a feel-good set of 'lucky' and 'winning' tracks - a fitting tribute as research reveals nearly half of adults (44%) have go-to songs or playlists when they want to feel lucky or boost their mood. Speaking about the launch at Old Queen Street Café in Westminster, DJ Luck and MC Neat said: "Opening Two Yolks: Lotto's Luckiest Café was a no-brainer for us - luck is literally in the name. "We came down to bring the good vibes, play a few lucky tunes and give everyone a 'little bit of luck' to start their day off right. "The atmosphere was wicked, serving up good energy from start to finish - from double-yolk brunches, surprise prizes, to people singing along and getting into the lucky spirit. "The whole place had that feeling of good things coming in twos, which made it the perfect way to kick off Lotto's new two-chances-to-win era." More than 18 million UK adults consider themselves lucky, with 40% agreeing that small signs of good fortune can shape how the rest of their day unfolds. Drawing on the notion that luck has always enjoyed company, the café has been launched to honour the everyday little omens that make people feel fate might just be smiling upon them — from two magpies and angel numbers like 11:11, to double rainbows and double-yolk eggs. OnePoll. com figures reveal that Brits already believe in the power of pairs, with four in 10 convinced that good things often come in twos, while 65% say having a second chance makes them feel more upbeat. Yet when it comes to keeping luck firmly on side, people aren't taking any risks — 36% admit they avoid speaking too positively too soon, while 26% have even held back from sharing good news for fear it might be too good to be true. Following today's opening, Two Yolks: Lotto's Luckiest Café is open to the public until Saturday 13th June, with limited walk-ins available for those hoping to enjoy a menu built around the idea that some things simply taste better in twos. The luck-themed menu features a classic double-yolk fry-up, a pair of brioche pastries inspired by a Bakewell tart, and a winner-winner chicken schnitzel, with one £2 ticket granting entry for two guests.
