Shares in chip-part maker Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG rallied the most in six years after the company raised its guidance and pledged increased output and investment as part of a deal to supply Advanced Micro Devices Inc.
AT&S — which makes the circuit boards and IC substrates that connect chips to systems running data centers, mobile phones and cars — jumped 29% on Monday. That took its gain this year to more than 500%, giving it a market capitalization of more than €7.7 billion ($8.9 billion) in one of the best performances among major companies listed in Europe.
