It's also been speculated that Harper had intended to visit her sibling privately, only for the photos to be leaked by paparazzi who were waiting outside to capture Brooklyn. Harper's visit happened mere hours before dad, Sir David Beckham, was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with the glittering ceremony unfolding just a short drive from where 27-year-old Brooklyn lives with his wife, Nicola Peltz. It's been reported that Harper had the support of her parents when she called on Brooklyn, who are said not to want to come between their children as the feud continues. While Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham have remained silent on the incident, a source close to the couple have lashed out at "nasty accusations". They told the Daily Mail: "It is incredibly sad that this horrible accusation is being levelled at an innocent young girl who just desperately misses her brother. Nothing needed to be said at all, so to invent this nasty accusation is really unnecessary." "As strategic as the Beckhams are with their brand and PR, I just don’t think they would put their daughter in that position for a headline. However, the bigger question is not whether the visit was choreographed, but actually how it ended up becoming a headline. "What stands out to me is that Harper is only 14. She has largely been shielded from public family disputes throughout her life, so seeing her drawn into the narrative changes the tone of the story considerably. From a reputation management perspective, this is where this situation becomes more delicate for everyone involved." She continued: "Once younger family members become part of the public fallout, the public tends to lose interest in who is right and who is wrong and instead starts asking why the dispute has reached this point. "One of the biggest risks for all parties is that the story shifts from a family disagreement to a perception that family members are being used as symbols in a public battle.
