Jonas McDowall, 34, passed away unexpectedly on June 5, leaving his partner and eight-year-old daughter behind. Jonas, from Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire, has been described as a "loving son, brother, partner, father and friend who touched the lives of so many people", reports Daily Star. His family said: "Jonas was a kind, caring, and hardworking man who would do anything for the people he loved. He deserved many more years with his family." Jonas's brother, George McDowall, has now launched a fundraiser to cover the costs of the father's "enormous" repatriation and funeral costs as the family deals with the sudden loss. A GoFundMe page has already raised more than £6,600 from 130 donations. In the fundraiser description, George wrote: "As a family, we are struggling to come to terms with the fact that Jonas is no longer with us. "He was a loving son, brother, partner, father and friend who touched the lives of so many people. His loss has left an unimaginable void in all our hearts. "Jonas leaves behind his loving partner and his beautiful eight-year-old daughter, who is now facing life without her dad. "No child should have to experience such heartbreak at such a young age, and our priority is to ensure she and her mum have the support they need during this incredibly difficult time."
