My top 10 things to watch Tuesday, June 16 1. Can SpaceX be stopped? Up another 4.5% premarket after yesterday's nearly 20% gains and Friday's nearly 19% pop on its first day of trading. It's become a meme stock. CEO Elon Musk's claim that SpaceX could hit $1 trillion in revenue by 2030 really got things going. At the same time, this is now a terrific currency for Musk to use. He's putting it to work by buying AI coding startup Cursor for $60 billion. 2. There is something uncomfortable about watching the buyers push SpaceX higher like this in the premarket with no sellers. It could open with a market cap higher than Club name Amazon . Could they eventually take it to the size of Nvidia ? A big thing on the horizon is Space's early inclusion into the FTSE Russell and Nasdaq indexes after five and 15 trading days, respectively. This is day three. 3. Tesla 's second-quarter vehicle deliveries are tracking ahead of consensus, according to Goldman Sachs. Tesla, of course, is Musk's other venture. Been plenty of chatter that Musk's ultimate goal is to combine SpaceX and Tesla into one entity. It's vital that he does so, because the combination of Tesla's Optimus robot with SpaceX's Starlink internet service. 4. Wolfe restarts coverage of Palantir with a hold. Previous rating was sell. This stock has languished as if it is a meme stock gone bad, but business is still very good. Revenue soared 85% last quarter. The stock is still very expensive by traditional metrics, trading at 77 times forward earnings. 5. Dave & Buster's is tumbling almost 15% premarket after comparable store sales declined 5.4% in the quarter ended May 5, much worse than the minus 1.2% consensus. High gas prices and geopolitical uncertainty hurt them. Comps have improved in the new quarter, but are still down 4%. Benchmark downgraded the stock to hold from buy. Other analysts just lowered their price targets. 6. Royal Caribbean 's price target was raised to $362 from $348 at Citi to account for lower fuel costs. Kept its buy rating. Citi also upped its PTs on Carnival and Norwegian Cruise Line . These names are always footballed. Worthless calls. 7. Cantor Fitzgerald predicted that AI computing provider CoreWeave's second-quarter backlog is set to materially beat Street expectations. That's based on a financial detail disclosed in a bond offering memorandum, which analysts believe equity investors have "largely ignored." When will this one become a meme stock? It has all of the characteristics. It's set to join the Nasdaq 100 next week. 8. Yum Brands is selling Pizza Hut to private equity firm LongRange Capital for $2.7 billion. Smart move to exit the pizza business and focus on the better-performing KFC and Taco Bell. Club name Goldman Sachs is one of Yum's financial advisors on the deal. 9. Piper Sandler cut its Tractor Supply price target to $32 from $36. The analysts lowered their back half of the year earnings estimates, citing increased drought conditions and chicken prices. Truist reduced its PT to $32, citing its internal credit card tracker showing weak sales trends. 10. JPMorgan lowered its Lennar price target to $77 from $80 and kept its sell rating. Analysts reduced their 2026 guidance for home closings after a softer spring. UBS cut its PT on the homebuilder to $94 from $107. Kept its hold. Analysts adjusted their earnings estimates after a lower guide.
