Jeremy Clarkson became visibly emotional as he issued a warning over the final episodes of Clarkson’s Farm, explaining that they are a “really difficult watch”. In the latest instalments of season five, the former Top Gear host announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer, explaining that it was “aggressive” and that part of his prostate had been removed, but the illness had been discovered “really early”. Before the episodes dropped on Amazon Prime overnight, the 60-year-old shared an update in a new video on Instagram, revealing that the footage wouldn’t be an easy watch for viewers. “Got some good news and some sombre news,” he began the clip. “Good news is that Hawkstone has finally had an advert accepted and it will be shown just before kick-off in the England match tomorrow evening. “Sombre news - Clarkson's Farm. Ordinarily we try and keep the show bucolic, and charming, and cheerful but the final two episodes - which drop in the middle of the night tonight - they’re none of those things, really. They’re a difficult watch. They’re really, really difficult.” Fans quickly flooded the comments section with support for the TV legend, with one penning: “We’re all rooting for you Jeremy, stay strong mate. [sic].” The latest series of Clarkson's Farm - which follows Jeremy and co as they work on Diddly Squat Farm - was filmed from late 2024 to September 2025 - the first half of season five dropped earlier this year, while part two is now available on the streaming platform. In emotional scenes, Jeremy could be seen discussing his health with farm manager Charlie Ireland and farm hand Kaleb Cooper, informing them: "I've got cancer. I've known since May. "I had a medical, you remember back in May. I disappeared off the other week and I had a biopsy and it is cancer and it's aggressive, but it's really early so the treatment will be, you know." He confirmed that he’d had “10%” of his prostate removed via ultrasound, which came almost two years after he underwent a heart procedure. "So we started the year and I had coronary heart disease, and ended it with me with cancer," he said. "We can dwell as much as we like on all the bad things that have happened on the farm but I think it is better now at the end of the year to focus on things that have happened that are good." At the end of the season, Jeremy spoke from his hospital bed, telling viewers: "We started season five with me in a hospital bed and we are at the end of season five and I’m back in a hospital bed. "What I wanted to say was if this is all successful I'll see you for season six and if it isn't I won't.
