A patient has died and three paramedics have been injured after an ambulance rolled onto its side during a horror crash in Glasgow.
The incident took place just before 9pm on Tuesday, June 16, at the junction of Balmore Road and Ashgill Road in the north of the Scottish city.
One patient was on board the ambulance and was then taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by another ambulance.
He later died in hospital following a medical matter, a Police Scotland spokesperson said.
A student paramedic was among those injured and they were taken to the same hospital for treatment. Two other paramedics were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The driver of the car, a 49-year-old man, has been arrested in connection with a road traffic offence. Police say their enquiries into the incident are ongoing.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "One of our ambulances, which was en route to hospital, was involved in a road traffic collision on Balmore Road, Glasgow at 8.58pm on Tuesday. The patient on board was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary by another ambulance.
"Two staff members were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, and a student paramedic was transported to Glasgow Royal Infirmary."
