VSCO Challenges Adobe With New App and a $500 Plan for Pros
VSCO, the photography platform best known for its popular image filters, is introducing a more advanced iOS app and an all-in-one subscription plan, moves that put it in direct competition with Adobe Inc. and other brands offering professional-grade creative software.
VSCO is framing the new app, Studio Pro, as its next-generation professional editing experience, and said a macOS version will follow later this year. The software is “built specifically for photographers working across weddings, portraits, events, sports, school photography and other large-scale photoshoots,” the San Francisco-based company said in a statement Wednesday.
