Lee Andrews faces return to prison in 14 days after 'talking himself out'
Andrews claimed that 'Katie has been his rock' throughout this trouble however he will not rely on her to pay his debts adding that he 'would be able to raise the capital himself'
Lee Andrews faces being taken back to prison in 14 days if he doesn't pay his debts, according to reports after documents released showed the extent of his money problems.
Katie Price's husband, 43, went MIA for weeks with the star concerned about his whereabouts with fears he was 'kidnapped'.
However, it has since been revealed that he was in Al Awir Central Prison in Dubai on fraud allegations, however he has insisted he was actually jailed for espionage.
Lee reunited with his wife after being released from prison, posting a video on Instagram with a new AI edited hairdo.
Now, according to reports, a Dubai court has told Lee he must pay for his outstanding debts within two weeks or he will be jailed again.
Documents show that Lee has debts including £54,000 pertaining to the hiring of a rental car, and £15,000 to a United Arab Emirates legal firm, which instigated his initial arrest warrant.
It is reported that Lee is yet to be 'actively wanted' by police officials, but must pay these debts within 14 days.
A representative for Lee told The Sun: "The judgement debtor appeared before the court and was questioned regarding the reason for failure to pay the debt.
"He stated his wife is currently outside the country and that he has been unable to access his bank account required to make payment.
"He requested a period of 14 days in order to settle the outstanding amount."
The Mirror has also contacted Lee's representatives.
A source added: "Lee managed to talk himself out of jail, and said he would be able to raise the capital himself.
"He says Katie has been his rock, and helped him liaise with officials when he was banged-up – but that he hasn't asked her to pay off any of his debts. He insists he can do that himself."
Katie said her husband had 'questions to answer' regarding his so-called fortune when he was released but appears to have taken him back.
Lee continues to insist that he was imprisoned on suspicion of espionage 'and held in a state security building' regarding a 'a civil case in Dubai' although there is large evidence supporting the claim he was arrested on suspicion of fraud.
Posting on Instagram, he said there is "not one shred of evidence" that he had been charged with fraud, hitting back at claims made by his ex fiancée Alana Percival.
He claimed he was "taken by the Qatar border by the men, at gunpoint and was captured by men with assault rifles, they did slap me round a little bit, little s***s.
"From there I was taken to a black site where I had no use of my phone and from what I know, it was an extended arm of the National Guard and that is all I can reveal at the moment.
"I have signed disclaimers with state security and from there I was put into the system. At no point have I faced anything to do with fraud allegations or criminal activities."
Lee added that Katie managed to 'secure his release' after working with UK authorities.
He added he was "sending these messages out to my loved ones and my beautiful wife, who without her help involving all the UK authorities, I don't think I would have got out of that situation."
In the video he continued to claim he was arrested on suspicion of spying, "because of the tensions and things happening in the region, and me being so close to the border, this is why I was suspected of espionage and held in a state security building without the use of a telephone or any rights to a shower, contact or to speak to any of my family including the embassy or my wife.
"So, thank you to Katie for making such a noise, where the UAE actually listened and let me go."
He went on to detail how he was then jailed: "From there, I did have a civil case in Dubai which led to me going into the mainstream prison during the Arabic holidays, Eid.
"I was able to secure my release and I am here now, so thank you everyone for listening and love and blessings to everyone."
Last week it was reported that the self-proclaimed billionaire was jailed in Al Awir Central Prison on fraud allegations last month, with Katie revealing that a six-figure fee has to be paid for his release.
Despite claims that shortly after his wedding Lee took out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex Dina Taji's name without her knowledge, Lee doubled down on his claims that there are no allegations of fraud against him.
Lee said: "There's not one shred of evidence where I've taken a mortgage in someone else's name, particularly in my ex fiancée's name Dina.
"If I was to take a mortgage in somebody else's name, wouldn't she get that mortgage? How does it work? What would I benefit from signing her name? That's definitely not the case. So, let her bring the mortgage paper."
He then called out at another ex of his, Alana Percival, who he said spread the story.
"This is a story that's got out and has come from Alana, my ex who I was with for one minute, I was engaged to her for six days maximum. I didn't spend any time with her, I was maximum with her for thirty days total and she has never been scammed.
"In fact I bought her everything. If you refer to her first article, because she's just fame hungry, where she said I bombarded her, got her the car, got her the apartment which is true, paid for her dad, gave her money, gave her dad money."
According to reports Katie went to Dubai to pay a fee to release her husband but on arrival found out this sum had increased to £140,000 due to his involvement in another case.
When discussing setting up a fundraising to gain the money, the model told her husband that "everyone hates you".
Katie has stated she will not pay money for a man again after several failed marriages, however she is supporting Lee.
She said: "This is real, this is real life; this is my life. It has been a tough few weeks, don't get me wrong. But I've still stayed strong through it all, and I have a smile on my face.
"So, in this situation, I'm doing what I want to do, and I'm out here in Dubai, because I'm here to help Lee.
"Some people might not like my choices, but I'm not living for everyone else. I know people have been calling me stupid, I see all the trolling, I hear it. I am not stupid."
