Sainsbury's Tu sale with school uniform reduced to £3 ends soon The supermarket has discounted tops, trousers, skirts, shoes and more - but only for a few days Sainsbury's shoppers with children have only days left to save money ahead of the next school year on uniform costs. Items have been reduced to as little as £3, helping parents save both time and cash when getting all the essential kit before their children's return to school after the summer break. The current promotion, offering 20% off the supermarket's unbranded range, finishes on Sunday, June 21. Deals include key items children will need for school each day, such as tops, trousers, skirts, shorts, and shoes. Sainsbury's clothing range Tu has designed the latest school uniform collection with "great value and practical design features" at its heart for the academic year ahead. Supermarket bosses say the range is aimed at helping families purchase crucial items at budget-friendly prices. Throughout the collection, durability is standard, with features including reinforced knees, permanent pleats, colour-retaining fabrics, and scuff-resistant finishes on selected footwear styles. Easy-care touches such as non-iron shirts and stain-resistant finishes also feature to make daily wear far simpler for families. The footwear selection is built for everyday use, blending comfort with hard-wearing finishes across a wide variety of school-appropriate styles. More garments include Sainsbury's 'Easy Dressing' feature, which supports children in getting ready independently on hectic school mornings, with elements such as touch-and-close fastenings and pull-on trousers, reports the Express. Melinda Harris, Tu's director of product, said: "With tight budgets and busy lives, we know back-to-school shopping can feel like a lot for families. That's why we're focused on making school uniform reliable and affordable, with everyday schoolwear that combines comfort, quality and value. "From reinforced knees and non-iron shirts to scuff-resistant footwear and practical details that help children dress more independently, the range is designed around real school mornings and busy school days. By holding prices for a fourth year and offering 20% off for a limited time, we're helping families shop with confidence and find uniforms that are made to last." Lots of retailers are rolling out discounts and deals to help parents keep costs down. Lidl and Aldi have both recently revealed an upcoming sale in stores later this month, with selected uniform bundles set to cost just £5. What items are on offer at Sainsbury's?
