An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 struck Greece on Saturday.
However, there were no immediate reports of damage.
The tremor occurred at a depth of 13km (eight miles), the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
It was located 69 km south-southwest of the city of Rethymno on the island of Crete – a tourist haven, with more than six million arrivals in 2025.
