Lauren Murgatroyd, 26, of Novak Place, Morecambe, and Liam Neve, 26, of Spinney Close, Grimoldby, Louth, have both been charged following a "complex and large-scale investigation", say police. Officers were called to an address in Bourne, Lincolnshire, on October 31, 2023, where the eight-week-old baby was found and taken to hospital but tragically died. Neve faces the same charges, as well as two counts of ABH. Both Murgatroyd and Neve are due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today (June 24), reported LancashireLive. Detective Chief Inspector Andy McWatt of the Major Crime Unit said: "Our thoughts are first and foremost with those impacted by this deeply devastating case. We have continued to investigate this tragic death since 2023.
