The force said it received a report shortly after 3pm on Tuesday that a woman in her 20s had been inappropriately touched over her clothing by a man in the water at the beach. Officers on patrol in the area attended and arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault. He has since been released on police bail, with a condition not to enter Dorset. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing. Police also received a second report at 4.18pm that a woman in her late teens had been inappropriately touched over her clothing by a man on the same beach. Officers attended and arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault. He has also been released on police bail, with a condition not to enter Dorset. Enquiries are ongoing.
