A fire broke out at Delta Air Lines Inc.’s refinery in Trainer, Pennsylvania, on Thursday.
The fire, which began around 11:30 a.m., occurred in a process unit pump room, Delta’s Monroe Energy subsidiary said in a statement. On-site firefighters responded to the incident immediately and are “taking all necessary steps to extinguish the fire,” according to the statement. Air monitoring shows that there are no risks to the surrounding areas at present, the company added.
