European natural gas prices inched higher after an attack on a cargo ship in the Strait of Hormuz renewed fears about safe passage through the critical waterway.
Benchmark futures rose as much as 1.6% after falling the previous two sessions. Prices have been trading in a narrow range since the start of the week. They remain more than 25% higher than before the war started amid concerns European storage isn’t filling up fast enough before winter.
