He’s still got to convince the market. “The performance through the first quarter was better than I expected, and I’m seeing it pay off now as we’re finishing up the second quarter,” Wren said in an interview at the annual Cannes Lions advertising festival in southern France. Omnicom has kept a 98% client retention rate since closing the deal, and won new business from American Express Co., Kroger Co., International Business Machines Corp., Merck & Co., Unilever Plc and Bayer AG.
