A vehicle is understood to have struck pedestrians outside Marks and Spencer on The Broadway at around 3.15pm, reports MyLondon. Paramedics were earlier seen treating two people on the ground, according to witnesses. The Broadway is currently closed in both directions between High Street to Spring Bridge Road. Key Events Three people have been taken to hospital after being injured in a road traffic collision, including one who was rushed to a major trauma centre, paramedics have said. A London Ambulance Service spokespersons said: "We were called at 2.29pm today (27 June) to reports of a road traffic collision in Ealing Broadway, W5. "We sent a number of resources including ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, a volunteer emergency responder crew and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance. "We treated three patients at the scene and took one of them to a major trauma centre by road as a priority. The other two patients were taken to a local hospital." The Broadway is closed in both directions with buses diverting around the area, accroding to traffic monitoring site Inrix. The service states: "A4020 The Broadway in both directions closed, queueing traffic due to accident from B455 High Street to Spring Bridge Road." The Broadway remains closed in both directions between High Street to Spring Bridge Road, according to Google traffic maps. A witness filming the emergency response claims at least three people have been injured in the reported collision. "This looks serious," the witness said in a video posted to X. "There's a car with some damage to its rear bumper. One person has been picked up and put into an ambulance, and there's two people lying on the floor." Footage shared on social media appears to show an air ambulance landing close to the scene of the collision. A number of ambulances are also said to be in attendance.
