ITV World Cup pundit accused of wearing a wig by Sir Alan Sugar The World Cup has thus far divided opinion with Sir Alan Sugar managing to do exactly that courtesy of a bizarre accusation aimed at Roy Keane Sir Alan Sugar has shockingly claimed he thinks that Roy Keane was wearing a wig during ITV World Cup coverage. The former Manchester United midfielder was part of the coverage for England's win over Panama but it appears as though Sir Alan was focused on something else. Two second-half goals from Thomas Tuchel's side sealed an important victory and top spot in Group L. The Three Lions will play DR Congo in the round of 32 and look set for a serious challenge given how they have struggled to break down low blocks at the tournament thus far. Those specific issues were on display in the first half against Panama with Keane among those that did not hold back. However, the former Tottenham chairman was more interested in debating whether or not he was wearing a wig. He wrote on X: "Does anyone think the triangular section of hair on Roy Keane’s forehead is a wig as it looks a different colour?” The bizarre query drew a wide variety of responses with some in agreement while others could not quite believe his suggestion. One wrote: "Good shout mate I think you might be right." Another agreed: "Yeah, that’s mad. I was thinking the exact same." On the opposite side of the argument, one user X said: "No, defo his natural hair." A second added: "It’s a bad state of affairs when a successful entrepreneur like yourself is tweeting about a guy’s hair." A third stated: "I'm a barber, it's perfectly natural. It's a natural, recession growth pattern for a man in his 50s..... why ridicule someone for embracing a natural, life staging, growth period?" It is fair to 45 minutes on from some of those angry responses, England fans were much happier following goals from Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham. Elsewhere in their group, Croatia's win over Ghana confirmed them as second-place while the Black Stars finished as one of the eight best third-placed teams. Winning the group has seen a favourable knockout path emerge for England with the likes of Portugal, France and Spain avoided. Beating DR Congo will see England go up against either Mexico or Ecuador with a potential quarter-final then likely to be against Brazil assuming they beat Japan and one of Ivory Coast or Norway.
