Officers were called to reports of a sexual assault in Ham Woods at around 3.45pm on June 25. The victim is being supported while police enquiries continue to identify and locate the suspect. Devon and Cornwall Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward as detectives continue their investigation. A spokesperson for the force said: "Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on a child that took place at around 3.45pm on Thursday 25 June in Ham Woods, Plymouth. "The victim is being supported by officers at this time. "Enquiries to identify and locate the suspect are ongoing.
