Stalker jailed for luring men on Tinder to ex-partner’s home with fake rape fantasy Asad Hussain, 36, persuaded 35 men to visit the victim’s home using a fake Tinder profile - Bookmark A man has been jailed for eight years after creating a fake Tinder profile of an ex-partner to lure men to her house to rape her. Asad Hussain, 36, persuaded 35 men to visit the woman’s home, with three turning up simultaneously on one occasion, after falsely claiming she harboured a "rape fantasy". Chester Crown Court heard he instructed some to "give the porch door a good shove" to gain entry. The court was told Hussain had a brief relationship with the victim, initiated in April 2024. She ended their contact due to his escalating jealousy, possessiveness, and controlling nature, which included persistent questioning about other men. He repeatedly turned up at her home late at night to check on her and on one occasion she injured her arm in a fall as he grabbed her wrist to try to take her phone, the court heard. Hussain subsequently contacted her daughter and friends to accuse her of cheating and to make numerous attempts to rekindle the relationship. Later multiple men started to attend her home address and said she had invited them after they matched on Tinder. Others told her they received messages stating she wanted to engage in a “rape fantasy” and were led to believe if she said “no” it meant she “wanted it more”. One of the men gained entry as he forced open the porch door and smashed a glass panel, the court heard. Hussain, of Heald Green, Cheadle, used multiple mobile phones as part of his deceit and would park in a nearby location to his victim’s home to operate the fake account. He was convicted by a jury of stalking, assault and failing to disclose the pin to an iPad seized during the investigation. In a statement to the court read on Monday by prosecutor Jemma Gordon, the victim said: “My home, my safe space, has been violated all because one person created a completely fictional narrative. “I have only known him by the name he gave me, Mick Renney. He lied to me from day one. “It was a pure miracle that I was not harmed by one of these men but I have mental scars that will take a long time to recover from. “Who is going to knock on my door? Has this really ended? How many still have this information? What happens if I happen to come across one of these men? “This is so unfair and just because I said ‘no’ to Asad Hussain. He wanted me isolated, alone and scared “Mentally it has been a terrifying ordeal. I can’t sleep, I struggle to eat and I feel constantly in danger.” Philip Clemo, defending, said his client did not accept the jury’s verdicts and told the author of a pre-sentence report: “I have not done anything wrong”. Judge Michael Leeming also issued Hussain a 15-year restraining order against his victim and her daughters. Police said the actual number of men who were deceived into visiting her family home is not known. Following sentencing, investigating officer Pc Keith Terrill, of Cheshire Police, said: “Asad Hussain is an exceptionally controlling and deceitful individual who went to extreme lengths to cause fear and distress to the victim and her children. “At no point has he taken any responsibility for his actions. Hussain instead chose to repeatedly lie and hinder the investigation, before forcing the victim and witnesses to sit through a nine-day trial. “The impact on the victim and her family has been devastating. I hope that today’s sentence brings them some closure and allows them to begin rebuilding their lives. “This has been one of the most technically complex and disturbing stalking cases Cheshire Constabulary has ever investigated. It has however once again shown that the internet offers no sanctuary to those who wish to commit violence against women and girls and domestic abuse.”
