The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the schedule for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 and started the process for submitting the List of Candidates (LOC). CBSE-affiliated schools have been directed to complete the online submission of candidates through the Pariksha Sangam portal within the prescribed deadline. The board has also made it clear that students whose names are not included in the LOC will not be allowed to appear for the supplementary examination. Schools directed to submit LOC through Pariksha Sangam According to the official notification, schools must log in to the Pariksha Sangam portal using their affiliation credentials and submit the LOC for eligible students. The online submission window will remain open from June 30 to July 8, 2026. CBSE has instructed schools to include all students placed in the Compartment category, even if they are unable to contact them. The board said failure to submit a student's name in the LOC will make the student ineligible for the supplementary examination. Compartment students must contact their schools Students who appeared as regular candidates from CBSE-affiliated schools in the 2026 Class 12 Board examinations and were declared in the Compartment category must approach the school from which they appeared in the main examination. Their schools will sponsor their names for the supplementary examination. The board has advised students not to wait until the last moment and to ensure their details are submitted before the deadline. Students eligible to appear CBSE has specified the categories of candidates who can register for the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026. The eligible categories include: - Students appearing for their first compartment chance after being declared in the Compartment category in the 2026 Class 12 Board examinations. - Students seeking improvement of performance after passing the examination following the replacement of subject(s) in the 2026 main examinations. - Students who passed the 2026 Board examinations and wish to improve their marks in one subject. - Students appearing for the third compartment chance, who first appeared for the Class 12 examination in 2025. These candidates can apply only as private candidates. Supplementary examination fee Candidates will have to pay the examination fee online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI. The fee structure is as follows: Category | Fee Per Subject | Schools in India | ₹320 | Schools in Nepal | ₹1,100 | Schools Outside India | ₹2,200 | Consolidated mark sheet only for eligible compartment candidates CBSE has clarified that a consolidated mark sheet will be issued only to those students whose result in the 2026 Board examination was declared as Compartment and who successfully pass the Supplementary Examination 2026. Examination to follow existing syllabusThe board said the supplementary examination will be conducted on the 2025-26 Class 12 Board examination syllabus. Details regarding the release of CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Admit Cards 2026 will be announced separately. CBSE has also instructed schools to immediately contact the concerned Regional Office if any discrepancy is found in the admit card once it is issued. Here is the link to the notice.
