Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. plans to increase its annual technology spending, including on artificial intelligence, to more than S$1 billion ($771 million), said a top executive.
Singapore’s second-largest lender also expects to hire 600 additional relationship managers, Chief Executive Officer Tan Teck Long said at a media briefing on Wednesday. The recruitment will take place over the next three years, Sunny Quek, the bank’s head of global consumer financial services said.
