Woman who 'died' learned important lesson as she 'crossed over' A woman who claims that she died and was then brought back shared the important message that she learned when it felt like she crossed over to the other side A woman who claims to have died and then been brought back to life has shared the important life lesson that she learned when she crossed over, and she wants to share it with everyone else to reframe the way that they view death and living. Harper describes herself as a "two-time near-death survivor who came back to help you remember why you're here," and she said that the fear around death is completely "unnecessary". Of course, fear of the unknown is completely normal, but she wanted to make people feel a lot better about what actually happens when you die. In the TikTok video, she explained: "I died and one of the first things I realised after coming back was how unnecessary fear is. "I'm not talking about the fear that keeps you safe. I'm talking about the fear that keeps you small. So when I crossed over, there was no panic, no judgment, and no punishment. "Just a peace. A deep remembering, a familiarity. And I came back knowing this: We spend so much of our lives afraid of losing when life was never meant to be spent bracing for impact. But death is not the enemy here". She explained that if you've been living your life "holding your breath," she wanted to remind people to "exhale," because she's experienced almost dying herself, and it's not the fearful experience that we're taught about. In the comments, people shared their personal experiences with fearing death, with one person saying that they're not concerned about death itself, but more about what "comes after death". This is because, ultimately, it's a fear of the unknown, and people are concerned about things that they can't predict. Another woman shared her experience of her heart stopping, writing: "When I gave birth to my daughter, my heart stopped for a few minutes. "It was so peaceful, I felt such love and gratitude, I was told, but not in words, that I had to go back, and I watched the nurses and doctors work on me, and then I saw myself go back into my body. I really can’t describe some of the things I saw and felt". Somebody else wrote: "I had my near-death experience in 2003, while undergoing emergency surgery. My heart stopped, and it took them just under 8 mins to restart it. "What I experienced in those minutes changed my life. I left all the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) in the past and began a journey into Eastern beliefs (Buddhism, etc.). I have zero fear of dying…zero". Another pointed out to the woman: "What you experienced is called a near-death experience; when the heart stops, or the brain lacks oxygen, it can create feelings of peace and love, and people from different beliefs experience this in similar ways, but returning to life means it was not a final or complete death".
