The London Fire Brigade has advised people living in the area "to keep their windows and doors closed at this time". Road closures are in place on Watermead Way at the junction of Leeside Road. Crews have been mobilised from Edmonton, Enfield, Tottenham, Chingford, Walthamstow and surrounding fire stations to the scene. Officers from London Fire Brigade received the first of over 20 calls about the fire at 10.51pm, a spokesperson confirmed. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
