Lewis Hamilton tops first British Grand Prix practice, George Russell fourth

Lando Norris, the defending champion and last year’s winner at Silverstone, was seventh, more than a second off the pace.
Qualifying for Saturday’s sprint race takes places later on Friday, with qualifying for Sunday’s grand prix on Saturday afternoon.
