Donald Trump tells Usha Vance’s book club he mostly reads articles about himself
Donald Trump said he usually reads "stories about himself" when asked about his reading habits.
The president spoke to Second Lady Usha Vance on her Storytime podcast, which is centered on promoting child literacy, in an episode recorded in Oval Office released on Friday (3 June).
Trump told Vance, who had asked him whether he had time to read for pleasure, "I end up reading mostly newspapers. I usually read stories about myself.”
The president is not the first high-profile guest to appear on the podcast. Vance interviewed her husband, JD Vance, in June. The moment the vice president patted his wife’s knee and said “good to see you” quickly went viral online.
