Man fights for life after being 'repeatedly punched and stamped on' outside station British Transport Police say a man is in a 'critical condition' after a horror attack outside Worcester Foregate Street station A man is fighting for his life after he was attacked outside a city train station, as cops release images of the men they want to track down. The victim is said to have been attacked by two men outside Worcester Foregate Street station just before 8pm on July 3. British Transport Police (BTP) are investigating and have confirmed the victim is in a critical condition in hospital. During the assault, the man was repeatedly punched and stamped on whilst he lay on the ground, BTP said in a statement. Detectives have released CCTV images of two men they want to speak with in connection to the attack. A statement from BTP said: "At just before 8pm on Friday 3 July, the victim was attacked by two men just outside the station. "During the assault he was repeatedly punched and stamped on whilst he lay on the ground. BTP officers and paramedics attended the scene, and the victim was taken to a local hospital where he remains in a critical condition. "Detectives believe the men in the CCTV images may have information that could assist their ongoing investigation. "Anyone who recognises either of them is asked to text 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 642 of 3 July. Information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
