'Prince Harry never considers effects of own behaviour with his "always complain, never to blame" attitude'
Key Points
The royal mantras and mystique of the past has been well and truly extinguished. Throughout the whole sorry saga involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ’s decision to quit the Royal Family in favour of a new life in the United States, it is hard to believe the extraordinary depths to which their relationship with the family and the institution has sunk. Never complain, never explain, was the word of the late Queen.

How she would despair at the petty public war of words that has emerged between rival camps vying for the upper hand in this most pathetic of battles.
It appears Harry’s positioning against the government and the monarchy has well and truly run out of road.
He has claimed to be the victim of an “old fashioned establishment stitch up”, somewhat failing to acknowledge his own background.
Now “dark forces” are against him, and the primary reason stopping the King having a relationship with his grandchildren.
And yet, has he actually for one moment considered the effects of his own behaviour? More like always complain, never to blame!
The announcement just days ago from Harry that he would bring his wife and children to the UK, when he had received no guarantees of the taxpayer-funded security he craves, or accepted an offer of staying at Buckingham Palace to allay his constant safety fears, is utterly baffling.
Furthermore, his decision to leave both his father and the monarch’s aides hanging for a reply to the invitation is a true indication of this pampered prince’s conduct throughout his entire royal life.
Yet, Buckingham Palace can not be blameless.
At best the institution looks petty, as Harry’s team vociferously argues, for appearing to not outline the true cause of its refusal to grant the King’s son a night’s accommodation.
Multiple excuses ranging from a late RSVP to staffing levels and then the upcoming court judgement of Harry’s latest legal battle against the British media on Tuesday, means the Palace has now been drawn into this ridiculous public row leading many to wonder if there are any grown ups left in the room.
Just hours before touching down in his home country, which so easily could have been the precursor to a happy reunion with the King, his son and his grandchildren, it is hard to imagine how relations could sink any lower.
The fact Harry faces the very real prospect of having to find a hotel for the night on the morning of his trip is incredible.
Aside from seeking reconciliation with his family, the Duke of Sussex is supposed to be highlighting the incredible work of his Invictus Games and other charities he has dedicated most of his former life as a royal and a soldier towards.
No one is talking about any of that now and following such a lack of trust between Harry and his family, this just might be the last time we see the Duke step foot on the country he left behind.
