As per local press, authorities in Limassol remain on high alert following an explosion in the city centre at about 3.30am local time. Mixed reports claim the building targeted was a nightclub, whereas others report the site houses the city's cultural centre in central Limassol. It is understood the explosion has caused damage to the building's entrance, as well as to a vehicle parked nearby on Megalou Alexandrou Street.
