England vs Norway LIVE - World Cup quarter-final score updates as Bellingham nets stunning equaliser Jude Bellingham has England level at half-time with a magnificent solo effort after Norway had shocked Thomas Tuchel's men in the Miami heat by taking a first-half lead What a tournament Jude Bellingham is having. And it's the Real Madrid superstar who England have to thank here for being level at half-time. In the Miami heat, the Three Lions dominated possession for the opening 35 minutes, but found themselves BEHIND against Norway in this World Cup quarter-final - and it wasn't Erling Haaland with the goal. Andreas Schjelderup will be credited with it after his cross from the left arrowed in off Jordan Pickford's left-hand post. Thomas Tuchel and his staff were unhappy, believing there was a foul on Harry Kane in the build up to the goal. Kane and a number of players appealed, but VAR didn't intervene and Norway have the lead. But just before the break, Bellingham did what he's been doing throughout this tournament - stepping up when needed. A brilliant solo effort. Declan Rice struggled in the first half and was substituted at the break, along with Noni Madueke. Bukayo Saka and Ebere Ezi ON for England. Keep up with all the action below.... - Vote: Kane v Haaland - who is the better striker? - Who is leading the Golden Boot race? - Penalties? Who should take England's spot-kicks - what the stats say Key Events They put themselves in front once again! But there's plenty of appeals... 54 mins Saka has his first chance of the game, but can't convert. Norway are doing more in the final third and Pickford is forced to turn a cross over the bar. Haaland gets another header on goal, forcing a corner, which causes panic for a brief second. 51 mins The free-kick was deflected over and we remain as we are. Still neither side has taken control of the half, albeit we're only five minutes in. 46 mins England began the second-half and (we all hope) can get this done before the 90 minutes. Extra-time is added stress for us and more miles in the legs for the players. No good for anyone. Free-kick in a good position here for Tuchel's side. Madueke and Rice have made way at half-time - the latter had ultimately struggled with sickness this week. Eze and Saka are both on, which suggests a tweak to the formation also with Anderson the sole sitting midfielder. Boy did England need Jude Bellingham there. They were starting to go through the motions and had a huge wobble defensively. They'd also struggled to break through Norway's defence but Bellingham just grabbed the bull by the horns. That's what elite players do. World class and unstoppable, now the rest of the team need to step up. It's a real pity that second goal was marginally offside. Some big sighs of relief from England players coming off at half-time. For 35 minutes they dominated. Then there was a moment where Stones messed about and Norway almost pinched a goal and, for whatever reason, where they were emboldened, the Three Lions just went to pieces. Seriously, they could have conceded three, so good where the Norwegian openings. But, Bellingham's goal has England level. Kane then struck, but was offside. Now, they need to kick on. What a first half of nerves, drama and brilliant moments - and yet again, when England needed a hero - up stepped Jude Bellingham. England had plenty of the ball but did not hurt Norway enough with it. Norway were happy to sit back, soak it up and look for a moment. Surprisingly, that did not come through Erling Haaland. Andreas Schjelderup put them ahead with a fierce cross shot which had the Norway fans chanting: “England’s going home.” It stung England. That was when Bellingham came to the fore. Anthony Gordon drove forward, gave it to Bellingham and he smashed the ball so hard it went through the keeper. England thought they had gone ahead when Kane had the ball in the net from Bellingham’s through ball but he was just offside. However, from looking down and frustrated, England came back again. Noni Madueke has been poor. England look a bit shaky in defence as the new-look back four look nervous as hell about Haaland. Norway look so dangerous. This game feels like it could go all of the way. It’s such a tight contest which is often being played at walking pace because of the searing heat. He writes his own scripts doesn't he? Jordan Pickford 6 Set a new England record of 18 appearances at a World Cup but misjudged Schjelderup’s shot. Ezri Konsa 6 Picked at right back this time to shore up the defence - but England conceded and missed an attacking edge. John Stones 6 His slip let in Norway and gave them confidence. Looked a bit wobbly but did make amends with a big recovery. Marc Guehi 6 He was the big fitness worry before the game and certainly not at his authoritative best. Nico O’Reilly 6 Started quite well and looked livelier going forward. But England’s defence was exposed again. Declan Rice 7 Worked really hard and tried to make things happen. Is getting better in this tournament. Elliot Anderson 7 His long range passing was good and unlocked space on the flanks. Noni Madueke 5 Incredibly frustrating. Got into good positions but wasted them. Disappointing again. Jude Bellingham 8 When England needed him, he came to the party again. What a World Cup he’s having. Anthony Gordon 7 Started slowly, got better and then provided the assist for Bellingham. Harry Kane 7 Fired a free kick over, had one disallowed for offside and led from the front again. That's his fifth goal at this World Cup. Tuchel's team talk will look a lot different now thanks to that strike from Bellingham. Kane has the ball in the Norway net again with a cute dink over Nyland - but he's offside. That would have been a Bellingham assist too. The combination between Kane and Bellingham is electric. And that's the half-time whistle. Norway had England on the ropes for a brief period after they scored, but we have parity again. 15 minutes to get a refill. HEY JUDEEEEEEEE. ITS HIM AGAIN. England looked like they would meander to half-time 1-0 down but Bellingham is found by Gordon and the Real Madrid man takes some shrewd touches to set himself and fires across the goalkeeper with his left foot. 43 mins What a let off for England. Sorloth is put through and its him and Haaland against one England defender, but he delays the pass and ultimately sees his shot blocked. Haaland is NOT happy. England were up in arms about this, but the referee and VAR were unmoved. Thoughts? 41 mins Norway have got their tails up. Sorloth gets a volley off in the box, which goes narrowly over, and then Odegaard gets time to take fire from distance, which Pickford manages to save. But there's no doubt the Norwegians have now got a spring in their step. Amazing what a goal does for momentum. THE UNDERDOGS ARE AHEAD! England want a foul on Kane, but they get nowhere and Schjelderup's cross ends up firing into the top corner. It looks like he's trying to find Haaland, but instead his delivery flies past Pickford. England players still complaining, but the Norwegians are smelling an upset. 34 mins England get another free-kick in a good area but Rice's delivery is poor. Prior to that Odegaard attempted to get things going for Norway, but his optimistic ball in behind was dealt with by Pickford. Wow - a heart in mouth moment from Stones. He sells his pass short and Haaland almost gets in, but not quite. 30 mins England get a free-kick 20 yards out after Bellingham is hauled down but Kane steps up and blazes it over. We've hit the half hour mark and there's not been a clear cut chance yet, even if England have dominated. There's certainly no heatwave is Oslo! Where's the boos? To be fair, if ever you need one, today is the day. First quarter done. Not many histrionics on the touchline from Thomas Tuchel so far. He's got three minutes to tell his side what more he wants during the Hydration Break. Sponsored by Powerade. Don't forget that bit. Very important to FIFA that. 23 mins Norway give it away as they look to play out and Kane tries to find Bellingham, but his pass can't find the target. O'Reilly sends in a cross after some good build-up play, but even though Norway allow the ball to bounce, they deal with the threat. Haaland simply strolling around the centre circle and sees O'Reilly get on the end of a Madueke cross, which is England's best look of goal so far. 19 mins Gordon sends in a cross which looks like it could cause some trouble, but Norway deal with it. England certainly ramping up the pressure here and are taking up some good positions. Currently everyone bar Pickford is in the Norway half. Speaking on BBC, the ex-England striker has noted how compact the Norwegian defensive shape is. You can see what Norway are doing, they've got the back four and then five in midfield in front of them - trying to shield and not give any space in front of them. The Three Lions are dominating possession thus far. 16 mins Now its England's turn to have plenty of the ball and they're going side to side as they look to find that killer pass. It eventually finds its way out to Gordon, who looks to have the beating of Ryerson for pace, but his cross is blocked. The corner comes to nothing though. Looks like the FIFA president has picked his side tonight. Hardly surprising to be honest. The FA are fuming with Infantino and FIFA over Jarell Quansah's extended ban. Anyway, he's been shown on the big screen and booed by the supporters of both England and Norway in attendance at the Miami Stadium. And quite rightly.
