Brent crude traded above $85 a barrel this morning after President Donald Trump reimposed a blockade on Iranian ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Traders are back to pricing in a near 50% chance of a rate hike by the US Federal Reserve later this month as inflation risks mount. And AI-related stocks are coming under ever greater pressure.
