Security footage has captured the moment an out-of-control car flew through the air to smash into the side of a home, crashing down on a 70-year-old woman's home while she was watching TV.
By some miracle, the elderly Australian woman walked away from the horror incident without injury.
In footage captured on a neighbour's security cameras, a Holden Commodore - known in the UK as a Vauxhall VXR8 - can be seen hitting the nature strip which saw the car go careering through the air before crashing down onto the roof of a home, bringing down guttering and some patio awning along with it.
Despite the amount of air the car managed to get in the Wednesday night crash, most of the damage was to the side of the home in Perth, Western Australia.
The woman who lived at the property told Perth's 9News she had been watching TV at the time when all hell broke loose on her doorstep.
A 22-year-old woman allegedly fled the scene before police tracked her down at a home around the corner. She was charged with dangerous driving and failing to give details to police.
She was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and will appear before the Midland Magistrates Court at a later date.
