Gigantic 13-foot alligator caught after mauling woman in horror 'death roll' attack that ripped off both her arms GRAPHIC CONTENT Brittany Clark had both of her arms ripped off by a 13-foot alligator as it pounced on her and performed a 'death roll' as she tried to cool off in a Florida river An alligator that ripped a woman to pieces in a horrifying attack in front of her boyfriend has finally been snared weeks after authorities launched an urgent bid to capture it. Brittany Clark, 31, had both of her arms ripped off by the 13-foot beast on June 29 while taking a dip in a river during a hike through the Little Big Econ State Forest in Florida, the US, on June 28. Investigators said she was killed in a "death roll" while swimming in shoulder-deep water with her boyfriend, Chance Allison, and roommate. She was left brutalised by the animal, Mr Allison's chilling 911 call revealed, and authorities have now confirmed that they captured the gigantic beast that inflicted the gruesome injuries. Trappers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) confirmed that they captured two alligators following the incident last month, measuring in at 12 and 13-feet. FWC lab testing confirmed that DNA taken from the largest of the pair matched Ms Clark, as did bite marks on her arm. She was dragged under the water by the alligator during the attack, with Mr Allison trying urgently to rescue her from the jaws of the beast as it started trying to rip her arm off. A report from the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office stated that both were pulled under water, with the crocodile releasing its grip, only to clamp around the desperate woman's other arm. The report stated:“While they were swimming an alligator grabbed [Brittany] by her arm and began the ‘death roll’." “Her boyfriend Chance grabbed the alligator trying to get it to release her when it took them both underwater.” The injuries to both of her arms were extreme, as Ms Clark's roommate, Jayden Hernandez, relayed in a chilling call to emergency services. A transcript from the panicked bystander to ambulance services captured the moment she said one of her roommate's arms was torn "completely off". He added in the desperate call: "The other one is like attached barely." She then pleaded with the operator: “Hurry… she’s losing a lot of blood… we need to stop the blood.” The medical report reveals that, following the attack, Mr Allison hauled his girlfriend to shore and started attempting life-saving CPR as Ms Hernandez made the emergency call. It states: “Chance attempted to bring them both to shore when the alligator finally let go and CPR was started on shore by her boyfriend, and 911 was called.” Despite his heroic efforts and the quick response from emergency services, Ms Clark died from her injuries in hospital. She has been remembered as an "amazing person" by her family, with Mr Allison saying she used her final moments to ask him to look after her German Shepherd, Hokie. Her devastated partner told the New York Post: “It was one of the last things she said to me. I can’t recall anything else.”
