'I wanted to get out of dinner date and ended up doing something wild' A woman has shared the most hilarious way she ditched a bad date after getting 'weird vibes' during a dinner date with a man she met on a dating app – and it involved faking a faint A lot of people using dating apps find that meeting their ideal partner isn't always straightforward. However, one woman has confessed to doing something completely outrageous after she wasn't feeling the spark during a dinner date with someone she'd met online. The woman's story was shared on the 'It's a Girl Thing' podcast by hosts Ebony Day and Lucie Houchin. The show is styled as a casual, filter-free catch-up where the hosts debrief on their daily chaos, relationship drama, "icks", and embarrassing personal stories. But, as well as talk about their own lives, they also sometimes read tales from their listeners too. In one of their latest podcasts, they shared one woman's story of the 'most hilarious way she ditched a date'. The story, which was also shared over on their Instagram page, was seen being read out by Lucie. She said: "I was on a date with a guy who just had really weird vibes. "He kept leaning in too close, and I was just not feeling it at all." The woman said she started feeling "really panicky" on the date and 'couldn't think of a polite way to get out' of the date. So she ended up 'doing the only thing she could think of doing' – which was pretending to faint. Ebony was seen laughing as the reveal was made, as Lucie admitted she 'needed to watch her do it', as she asked: "How do you pretend to faint?" The woman then told the man she was on a date with that she was really dizzy and needed air. He offered to fetch her some water, but she insisted she 'needed to get outside'. She then grabbed her bag and they made their way out of the restaurant. The man reassured her she would 'be okay', at which point she decided she had to 'go full on a fall to the floor'. After 'coming round' from the faint, she got to her feet and declared, 'I really need to go, I'll message you later'. Yet she never got round to messaging him at all. The story proved a massive hit, with the Instagram post amassing over 1,000 likes. One follower admitted the idea was "genius", while another commented: "Will I ever not cry laughing at these stories?" A third chimed in: "Obsessed with you girls, you always make me laugh." The post comes after another woman has claimed rich parents offer her six figures to date their kids because they say she's the 'ideal woman'. Model CeCe Rose claims she's been headhunted by millionaire mothers and fathers who are desperate for their sons to be seen with a "status symbol" woman like her.
