Customers can use this new option to make the most of the lunchtime offer. The supermarket recently claimed that there are over 20 million possible combinations in its Tesco meal deal range across its standard and premium tiers. That list of possibilities is growing with the latest changes to what is now eligible for the grab-and-go bundle. Customers can now beat the summer heat as iced drinks from Costa Express machines have been added to the supermarket's meal deal offering. With some options from the machine costing close to £4 each, shoppers can maximise the value of their lunch. Tesco said: "Previously, only hot drinks from the machines have been included in the offer. Now coffee lovers can get their fix all year round with the option of an iced drink for summer sipping." As of July 2026, the standard meal deal at the supermarket costs £3.85 when scanning a Clubcard and £4.25 without one. By choosing one of the 'new' drink options as part of the meal deal offer, the cost of an iced drink reduces to only £1.29 (when bundled with a main and side under Clubcard prices). With more hot weather on the horizon, Tesco bosses also reminded customers that stores with an ice cream freezer offer another cooling option alongside their meal deal. Customers could swap the usual snack element for a frozen treat. Tesco said: "The offer includes popular brands such as Cornetto, Magnum, Nuii, Twister, Solero and more. The coolest of customers could therefore grab an iced drink, ice cream, and a main for only £3.85 with a Clubcard." Lately, shoppers claim that one offer could be a 'game changer' as Pot Noodles were seen as a 'snack' option, and others have spotted that they can swap soft drinks for non-alcoholic beers from brands such as Corona, Heineken, and Lucky Saint.
