The Hunt Valley, Maryland-based company said it would seek a secondary listing in Europe when it announced the $44.8 billion deal to create a global seasonings, sauces and condiments company. The choice of London for the listing follows Unilever’s long-running power struggle between London and Amsterdam, with McCormick saying it would establish an international headquarters in the Netherlands when it announced the deal in March.
