The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index rose 0.3%, poised for the best week in a month. The world’s reserve currency rose against nearly all of its major peers on the day with the New Zealand currency lagging the most. Meanwhile, the Swiss franc fell to the lowest in over a year, while the yen has been at its weakest level in four decades, falling as low as 163.96 per US dollar on Thursday.
