The wait is over for NFL Draft star Cameron Rose Newell. She is heading into her third year in the league with a ring on her finger.
That development took place on Wednesday when Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers proposed to his longtime girlfriend. The move ensures that she'll start the regular season with the title of fiancée.
On Thursday, Newell shared the video of the surprise proposal on Instagram. She wrote in her social media announcement, "The best surprise of my life, right where it all started. Can’t wait to spend forever with you."
The two have been together since high school, reports People. They made it work in college despite going to different schools. Bowers went to Georgia and Newell went to Tennessee.
They then entered the NFL together in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Both were on our draft board prior to her stealing some of his spotlight on draft night. Credit to OutKick's own Zach Dean and his in-depth draft analysis for that.

It hasn't been an easy start to life in the NFL. The Raiders have finished in last place in the AFC West in each of Bowers' first two seasons. He battled a knee injury last year that landed him on IR by the end of the season.
All of that is behind him now. He's participated in Las Vegas' offseason activities, he's now gotten down on his knee and proposed, it's time for the franchise that drafted him to turn the corner.
Handing out a ring before the season in exchange for being on the receiving end of one at the end of it might be too lofty of a goal, but adding several wins to the win column after only collecting three last season is within reach.
Congratulations are in order for the star tight end and his influencer fiancée.
