The Labour Force Survey for the second quarter puts the number of people in work at 22.8 million after creating 486,000 jobs, and cuts the unemployment rate to 9.87%, its lowest level since 2008. The Spanish labour market once again hit record highs in the second quarter of the year. The Labour Force Survey (EPA) published on Tuesday by the National Statistics Institute (INE) puts the number of people in work at 22.779 million, after 486,000 jobs were created between April and June.
