Teenage girl fights for life after joyride in allegedly stolen car ends in Langwarrin crash Two 14-year-old girls were pulled from the wreckage of a horror crash in Melbourne's south-east, with one of them suffering life-threatening injuries, local police confirmed A 14-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital after crashing the allegedly stolen car she was driving. The horror crach happened in Melbourne's south-east at 10.15pm on Wednesday July 29. The Honda Jazz was travelling along north-bound on Peninsula Link, near the Cranbourne-Frankston Road exit, when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled numerous times. Two 14-year-old girls were pulled from the horror crash, the driver suffering life-threatening injuries and the other with non-life-threatening injuries. The cause of the collision remains under investigation and police have not yet made any arrests. A Victoria Police spokesperson said: "Somerville Highway Patrol members are investigating after a teenage girl crashed an allegedly stolen vehicle in Langwarrin last night. "The vehicle was travelling along north-bound on Peninsula Link, near the Cranbourne-Frankston Road exit, when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled numerous times about 10.15pm. "The 14-year-old driver was pulled from the overturned vehicle and taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her 14-year-old female passenger was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. "The cause of the collision remains under investigation. "Police are keen to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage or who witnessed the driving behaviour of the grey Honda Jazz travelling in the area prior to the collision. "The vehicle was allegedly stolen from outside a Chadstone gym on 23 July. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au."
