Data center firm Equinix Inc. is looking to raise at least $3 billion from a sale of US investment-grade bonds, according to people familiar with the matter, selling into a recently weakened environment for debt related to the artificial intelligence boom.
The real estate investment trust and a European subsidiary are offering notes Thursday in as many as four parts, with maturities ranging from three to 10 years, said a separate person, who also asked not to be identified because they are not allowed to speak publicly. Initial price talk on the longest tenor is a premium of about 1.4 percentage point over Treasuries, the person added.
